The role of the common soldier. How has it changed over the years? What direction is it going in?
It is doubtful the infantryman will ever become obsolete. Fancy tanks and drones and planes won't matter for shit if there aren't boots on the ground to clean up the mess they make, keep people in line and get dirty.
